The ArmourLite Field Series watches with long-lasting Swiss tritium illumination have been a very popular staple in our collection since 2011. The newest generation of these ultra tough and high performance Swiss Made watches features a slimmer and more lightweight 42mm case, while retaining the classic and distinctive design of a field watch.

Each model in this series is protected by our unique shatterproof Armourglass crystal that has a hardness rating of 6,000 Vickers — whereas most watch crystals are only rated to 700 Vickers. For the utmost in reliability and timekeeping accuracy, each watch is powered by a maintenance-free Swiss Made Ronda 715 quartz movement with a date display at 3:00 and a low-battery indicator.

The functional yet easy to read dial features Arabic numerals for both the 12 and 24 hour markings. Your watch becomes a lot more useful as you can easily tell the time in not only the day, but also at night with the help of 15 self-powered tritium tubes that are set into each of the 3 hands and at every hour on the dial.

The case and all components of the watch are constructed out of hypoallergenic and durable 316L stainless steel. The screw-down crown and caseback ensure an adventure-ready water resistance of 100 meters. In lieu of the standard spring bar pins, heavy-duty screw bars secure the band firmly in place for strenuous activities.

Swiss Tritium Illumination

ArmourLite watches have tiny glass tubes that are filled with tritium gas and then hermetically sealed. The electrons of the gas continuously react with phosphorescent paint resulting in a radio luminescent light source that glows constantly for several decades. No external power source or charging-by-light is necessary to maintain the glow. The glow is completely self-powered.

Shatterproof Armourglass

The watch is protected by shatterproof Armourglass crystal that can withstand up to 6,000 Vickers, whereas most watch crystals can only withstand about 700. Using the same technology as bulletproof glass, we have achieved a crystal that won’t shatter even when one layer is compromised.

Swiss-Made Ronda Movement

The watch is powered by a reliable and accurate Swiss-Made Ronda 715 quartz movement with a battery life of up to 60-months. Ronda is one of the most respected makers of quartz movements and strictly adheres to an ISO 9001 quality control system to ensure that every movement meets the most rigorous standards.

316L Stainless Steel Case

The watch features an ultra tough, corrosion resistant, and hypoallergenic 316L stainless steel case with a diameter of 42mm. The double-gasket screw-in crown on the right side of the case is protected by two side shields. Plus, heavy-duty screw bars secure the band firmly in place for strenuous activities.
